Der Balkan Beats Express rollte am 05.07.2007 durch Berlins Straßen. Das Projekt Balkan Beats Express Berlin und die Veranstaltung Balkan Beats im Admiralspalast F101 wurde vom Studiengang für Kulturarbeit der FH Potsdam realisiert. Der Initiator des Projekt ist Prof. Dr. habil. Arthur Engelbert, der das kulturelle Phänomen “Balkan Beats” seit einiger Zeit intensiv beobachtet und z.B. die Entstehung und Funktionweisen dieses Kulturmix erforscht. Darüber hinaus wurde in diesem Projekt das praktische Experiment gewagt.
Vom 12. September bis 7. Oktober ist Prof. Christo Doherty, Künstler und Professor von der Wits School of Arts aus Johannesburg Gast des Studiengangs Kulturarbeit in Potsdam und Berlin.
